“ Absolutely delicious breakfast sandwich, pressed to perfection. Can't decide whether you want some coffee or some tea? Have both! The latte I had was a mix of both coffee AND tea! Brilliantly executed and blew my mind a little bit with how amazing it was. Hidden gem up on the 2nd floor with a very cute and inviting light wood storefront. Courteous and efficient staff who seem to pride themselves in delivering quality goods. I will definitely be going back to try the other flavors of mixed coffee/teas at some point! Lovely little seating area off to the side as well. ”

“ I decided to try some where new for lunch yesterday and came to some coffee and some tea due to my fiancées recommendation. I went right around noon and there were barely and people so my wait time was very short. The menu had a large variety of options and it will definitely require multiple trips to try everything that I want to. I decided to go with the oolong matcha latte and it did not disappoint. The taste of matcha was little but it was enough to make and complement the oolong and latte. I would have loved to try their food but I unfortunately did not have time since I got a bit lost trying to find the store. The store is on the second floor right above 300 and right next to jinsei ramen. The other thing that was a bit unfortunate was that there were very little table seats near the store. There are plenty of places to sit but nowhere where you can set your drink/food down and relax with a friend. Overall with the decent prices and the large variety of drink options I will definitely be coming again Service: 5 Food (drinks): 5 Speed: 5 Location: 3 ”

“ Every trip to Ottawa feels incomplete without a visit to "Some coffee & some tea". Their reputation for crafting impeccable sandwiches is something I've experienced first-hand, and it's a testament to why they've become a cherished staple in my food itinerary. On my latest sojourn, I opted for the Full House Turkey Club. And while I pride myself on having sampled a vast majority of their sandwich offerings, this particular choice reaffirmed my love for their menu. Beyond the mere aesthetics, which my photo might not fully encapsulate, lies a colossal sandwich, daring you to take that perfect, encompassing bite. Each layer reveals meticulously chosen, fresh ingredients, harmonizing to deliver a symphony of flavors. Here's a friendly heads-up: be prepared with a hearty stack of napkins – it's a delightful culinary adventure that's bound to get a bit messy! The attentive and cordial staff further elevate the dining experience, ensuring every visit is memorable. It's refreshing to find such value; the pricing is incredibly fair considering the impeccable quality and generous portion sizes on offer. In conclusion, "Some coffee & some tea" is more than just a café to me; it's a treasured gastronomic haven. I'm already anticipating my next visit on my future jaunts to Ottawa. ”

“ A hidden Ottawa gem, that makes in office days a little brighter. The menu is a mix of common “office lunch” fare and items that remind me of things I’ve had at cafes in Seoul and Beijing (minus the frills). ”

“ I’ve ordered from via UberEats from this location several times now. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Absolutely love their safe packaging and our sandwiches always arrive fresh & hot even when I open it 15-30 minutes later. Super impressed with the extra touch they do to cover the top of the coffee cup before putting the lid on to prevent the spills. Pricing is fair & their coffee is on point ”

“ Best coffee tea place ever so far in Ottawa! Absolutely 5 star! I am very fussy for drink but their food and drink it’s just gorgeous !! they deserve better business !! just because of the location, it’s inside the government building at the second floor , that’s why nobody find them ! but we luckily found this Hidden treasure!! ”

“ This place has the best latte I ever had. I don’t know how they make it so nice. It’s organic too :) I also enjoy their breakfast sandwiches. ”

“ Ordered lunch on a busy day. Had never heard of this place before, but it was highly rated on DoorDash, so decided to give them a try. The sandwich was loaded with chicken, cabbage and tomato. Had a good level of spice, but was not overwhelming with the heat. Overall was very impressed with the freshness and quality of the food. ”
